The article URL was changed from /insights/europe-copper-premiums-record-2027/ to match the revised scope of the article; the original address redirects to the new one. The original publication date is unchanged.
The first version included specific 2027 producer premiums, spot indications, inventory figures and tariff scenarios without direct primary evidence. Those figures and the claim of record highs were removed; the article now provides a comparison framework rather than a current market-price report. The original publication date is retained.
The original article incorrectly described Decision (EU) 2024/367 as a delegated regulation and drew overly broad conclusions from material names and regulatory dates. Specific alloy approvals, national transition dates, price premiums and claims of a Chinese supply gap were removed where primary evidence was not established.
The article was revised to describe Brassburg’s present research focus. Earlier claims of practitioner credentials and of a packaged trade, inspection, logistics or compliance service were removed because supporting evidence had not been provided.
